Normally, if you are taking 3/4th cup of extra virgin olive oil then you have to add 1/4th cup of balsamic vinegar. You can refrigerate this dressing for 3-4 weeks. This wonderful dressing can be used in vegetable and fruit salads. You can even use a few tablespoons of balsamic vinaigrette dressing on roasted vegetables.

·         French Dressing

This is an olive oil-based dressing for different kinds of veg and non-veg salads. Here you need olive oil, tomato puree, red chili flakes, sugar, salt, onion, garlic, and red wine vinegar. For one cup of French dressing, you need 1/4th cup of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of tomato puree. Add the other ingredients like salt or sugar in small quantities as you think feasible. You have to add all items in a mixer grinder to prepare a tangy-salty French dressing.

·         Honey Mustard Dressing

This creamy honey mustard dressing is literally versatile. Add it with a green salad or with roasted chicken or fish, the taste will be raving. You need 1/4th a cup of honey, 1/4th cup Dijon mustard, 1/4th cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, a pinch of black pepper. Whisk all ingredients together until the mixture looks smooth. The combination of honey and muster develop an awesome dressing.

·         Shallot Vinaigrette Dressing

Shallot is a type of onion but sweeter and milder flavored than an onion. You need 2-3 tablespoon of finely minced shallot, 1/4th cup white wine vinegar, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, ½ tablespoon of black pepper, 2-3 cup of extra virgin olive oil. Take all these ingredients together in a mixing bowl and whip until all blends nicely and look soft. You can preserve it for a week in a refrigerator.

·         Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing

This salad dressing is an example of how a touch of lemon can make a food item a million times tastier. The beauty of this dressing is that it takes a few minutes to prepare but go with all kinds of salads including leafy vegetable salads and fruit salads. You need 3-4 lemons, 1/4th cup extra virgin olive oil, 2 tablespoons dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon pressed garlic, salt as per your requirement, and a pinch of black pepper. Combine all these ingredients and whip till the ingredients mix well.
